iPower CPS 100 Dedicated Server Review

IPower.com offers dedicated servers that offer both technology and convenience. The packages include 24-hour network performance and can be used with Windows 2003, Linux or Free BSD programs. There are four iPower datacenter locations, hands-on services around the clock and an optional control panel that is Web-based.

The iPower CPS 100 dedicated server package, which can be purchased at $129 per month, includes a Hewlett-Packard quality pre-built server, an Intel-Celeron D processor, 500-gigabyte data transfer and one IP address. Sites can be marketed through Yahoo and Google search engines at no cost. This plan comes with a $50 Yahoo credit and a $100 Google Adwords credit. As for software, CPS 100 comes with Plesk and the following licenses: 30, 100 or unlimited.

Upgrades also are available. The iPower.com CPS 100 plan can add up to one 80-gigabyte hard drive, which has no RAID. The memory space also can be increased to one gigabyte. Also, the data transfer is upgradeable to one-terabyte, and one IP address can be added to this plan. The user will have to call to get information on upgrades.

CPS 100 also can be purchased in a block of three months, six months or a year. Additional set-up fees are included with those payment plans.
